Being a new mother of tripletts with only two bedrooms, my two girls are sharing a 15 x 15 bedroom. My boy gets his own room. I originally registered for two Summer Infant Day and Night Handheld Color Video Monitors for the girls' bedroom. Let me tell you, I was extremely disappointed. There was nothing but static because both cameras were 900 mhz. I immediately returned one of the monitors and put the other one in my boy's room.

Still needing monitors for the girls' room, I researched and found this item. I was nervous because of the other reviews of static and because the product is so expensive.

To my surprise, I received no static and the picture is clear as day. The only thing I notice is that the color is not really a color, even in the day time. But this doesn't bother me. I absolutely love this monitor and I think it's totally worth the money.

I bought this 2 years ago when I had my first daughter. I have never had any problems with it. I love to be able to watch her and see if she is awake ,sleeping or if she has kicked her covers off. Now I have another daughter and I love that I can switch back and forth to check on each one. It has been a life saver!!

I wish I hadn't gotten rid of the packaging or I would take this back. The picture quality is good, but the amount of static makes the sound horrible! I had to buy another monitor to use for sound and just leave the picture on this one.

This has got to be the worst camera in the world... nothing but static... I thought most of the people who actually wrote a negative review most of been using the camera wrong... no listen to the reviews... I returned it the very next day. I spent the extra $bucks and bought 2 of the Baby Vision Handheld Baby Video Monitors for (Just look for the Green & White Monitors on this site) Best buy in the world... Crystal clear pic and no static whatsoever!!! Best extra I have ever spent! This deal with the 2 Cams. is way to good to be true! Don't waste your time or money with this one!!!

Overall, we really like having this monitor. And the fact that it comes with 2 cameras is great - we leave 1 at "Grandma and Grandpa's" house where the baby is during the day and we keep the other 1 at home. Then, we just transfer the receiver back and forth.

The camera itself works great. Our biggest annoyance is the nearly constant interference. The picture comes through clear, but every few seconds it flickers and you hear a quick buzzing sound. It's a very short sound, but it's enough to keep me awake at night. So, I turn the volume down at night (during the daytime it doesn't bother me) and use another sound-only monitor (something we already have) so I can hear the baby. If the baby makes a sound, I can quickly look at the video receiver to see what's going on.

You're welcome to give it a try - you may not have the interference problems we have. But just in case, keep the receipt.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about. I use mine all the time & don't have a problem. I've had this system since November & it's still running strong. It gets interference every once in a while but that should be expected. It's a baby monitor not professional video equipment! It works really good when it's fully charged. I never leave my baby in another room without it. It works good on scan mode too...I've never had a problem.

We bought this video monitor after lots of research and were so excited when we got. The first night we used it, it worked great. The picture was clear and we had no interference. Then the problems started the screen when out when it switched to black and white, but came back a few minutes later, but after about 8 hours of use the camera in my daughter's room stopped working. Once we turned off the camera and then turned it on again it would only work for a few minutes. We though it was a defect at first so we tried the second camera and the same thing happened. We were disappointed in this product and returned it.

We bought this upon the arrival of our 2nd baby. We had a video monitor for our first & wanted to be able to keep an eye on both kids. This monitor has an amazing picture quality for one room, but when we have both rooms on, there is a lot of interference & the picture quality back & forth from being great & terrible. It also makes a loud noise when it switches from one room to the other so we can't use it at night when we are sleeping. I keep hoping it's our house that has the problem & not the monitor, because it seems like it could be the perfect solution for keeping any eye on two rooms.

I have to say I absolutely love this set and am completely addicted to being able to see my baby anytime I want. The picture quality is great for such a small screen and the cameras have proven very durable. My son became very talented at yanking one off the wall over his crib (we would have loved a longer cord) and the other survived tons of trips in the diaper bag. The receiver didn't fare so well. We had it for over a year when it took an accidental dump off the treadmill and the screen cracked so now we have sounds only. :( There is definitely a problem with interference. The static would pulse in rhythm to the dishwasher and we had to turn off the monitors and cameras to use the house cordless phone. Some days it was perfectly quiet and others I couldn't turn the volume up at all because the static was so loud. Also there is a switch to flip the LCD screen on and off, which was great at night so the screen wouldn't light up the whole room, but the switch is very small, hard to find in the dark, and it takes a strong finger nail or very tiny finger to flip it since it's recessed into the case. I hate that ours broke, but I'll look into some other models before I buy this one again.
